Easy for my 6 year old to put on himself! Stayed up the whole time!

These fit my 6 year old perfectly! After seeing them in comparison to the other 4-6 year olds tonight at their first soccer practice, these look way more professional and comfortable than the other kids. They stayed up without any slip down. Many kids were pulling theirs up most of the practice. My son said he forgot he was even wearing them!He was able to pull them up to put them on by himself. They stretched but not too much that they stretched out of shape. The Pads are a nice hard foam and not a hard plastic so they are protective yet comfortable. These have definitely been a good choice for my 6 year old!

Fit my 3.5yo

Quality guards! Comfortable but kindve a pain to out on. These are more difficult the first time you get them on your kid. There's a bit of a learning curve. They are very flexible for being so thick. They are bigger at the top than the bottom(as they should) but that does make the smaller hole harder to get up over the heel. Once on they are awesome. Do not slip down and stay in place while moving. They have a rubber grip at the top to help with this. The length worked well for my 3yo he will probably get a couple years out of them. The price is very fair for quality item. It beats having the socks with the shin guard in sleeve. Ans way more comfortable than the velcro guards! It also doesnt leave behind compression marks. They are easy to remove and store in soccer bag. My little guy liked them alot so its a no brainer for us.

Very convenient.

To be honest, not as good as a the hard shin guards but still very useful. 5 stars for them being so convenient. Instead of putting on socks and installing hard shin guards we just grab these bad boys and slip them on!Great for my son's 8yr old soccer trainings (and then we switch to the hard guards for his official games). Not 100% on the material but it's like a hard foam. It's built into the leg sleeve so no need to remember both parts (it's a single unit). We slip them on/off as needed.... Very convenient.

Great shin guards for soccer! I got an xl for my daughter,12, for soccer because she wasn’t around to measure, and i just guessed. They are slightly big, a large may have fit better but these work great still! They go under her soccer socks perfectly and stay up with that fell line at the top. The foam parts are really cool. They are all together but they can move in and out independently for counter shock value. They also fit so much better than the hard one paneled shin guards that always dig in. This design is different than I’ve seen before and it really forms to her leg and would to any leg perfectly!! It’s way more comfy than anything else I’ve bought in the last 5 years. They are super easy, they just slide on up, no straps! They seem really great, really durable and really good quality. The thickness is perfect. These don’t dig i. Anywhere. It’s like not even wearing anything because it’s not irritating at all. These are definitely the best I’ve bought, I’ll be recommending these to other parents!

Nice alternative for non-competitive soccer training

These are great shin guards sleeves for my son's indoor soccer practice. The real shin guards can be uncomfortable and complicated to put on, and when I came across this alternative, I thought I'd try it for his indoor practice. My son has taken to soccer seriously and plays in a kid's league that emphasizes having fun with no real technical training. So, we signed him up for technical skills training at an indoor facility. This sleeve is perfect for it because there are no major tackles or matches going on.It was hard to determine his proper size, so I was happy to get one that fits around his shin perfectly. The ankle area is a little big, but I just pulled them up higher. It has a lot of stretch on it, which bodes well for its long-term durability. I am so happy with it that when I saw another pair become available, I got them as a back up. I don't know if I would be willing to try them when his outdoor season begins because, while it may offer great protection while trapping the ball, it may not be as good for leg on leg contact.

Great product!

These shin guards are SO comfy, easy to use and quality! They’re kind of like a sock that you just slip on, so they’re soft, lightweight, and really comfortable for kids to wear while playing and practicing. I especially love that they don’t feel bulky or stiff. One thing I would recommend is checking your child’s specific soccer league rules before using them for games. Some leagues or teams have specific requirements for shin guards, and the referee may inspect them before the game to make sure they provide adequate protection. For practices, though, I think these are awesome! They’re comfortable, stylish, and have a cool honeycomb texture that adds some movement and breathability. They’re a great option for kids who don’t like the feel of traditional hard shin guards!

Good Protection and Comfort, but Fabric Could Be Better

These shin guard sleeves do a great job with impact protection - the honeycomb EVA padding is lightweight, absorbs shocks well, and stays comfortable during play. The compression fit is snug and helps keep everything in place, and the breathable nylon fabric keeps kids cool during practices and games. They’re easy to slip on, and the built‑in padding is convenient for quick gear changes. They work well across different sports, not just soccer, and the size and color options make it easy to find a good match for younger players. My only concern is the cloth quality. The material feels thinner than expected, and I wish the fabric had a bit more durability and thickness for long-term use. The protection is solid, but the sleeve itself could be sturdier.Overall, they’re comfortable, lightweight, and effective - just slightly held back by the thin fabric.

Great Protection Beyond Just Soccer – Perfect for Skiing!

I ordered the X-Large in Pink, and I’m really impressed with these shin guard sleeves. Even though they’re marketed for kids and soccer, I ordered them for myself because I wanted lightweight shin protection for skiing and snowboarding. For reference, I’m 50 years old, 5’6”, 155 lbs, with an athletic build, typically wear a size 6–8. The X-Large works well for me and provides a comfortable fit without feeling overly bulky. The honeycomb padding is what really caught my attention. It provides a layer of protection over my shins while still allowing me to move comfortably. I can see these being especially useful when skiing or snowboarding, where your shins can take a beating from equipment, bindings, or unexpected bumps and impacts.I also love that they’re slip-on sleeves, so there aren’t a bunch of straps or complicated adjustments to deal with. They’re lightweight enough that I can wear them underneath my ski or snowboard pants without adding a lot of bulk. And the pink color is super cute!I bought these specifically for shin protection while skiing and snowboarding, but they would be great for other activities where you want some extra protection without wearing a bulky hard-shell guard.Great fit, comfortable, lightweight, and surprisingly versatile. Five stars!

Unisex Shin Guards

Wear these unique shin guards under your socks, over your socks or with no socks at all. The nylon fabric lets your legs breathe and stay cooler. The honeycomb design makers them unique and also makes them super flexible. Remember the old school plastic shin guards? Those things could have been worn by the knights of the round table. Not these guards. They give you freedom of movement but still protect your shins from possible injuries. There are several colors available, so you can match them to your soccer uniform. And they work for girls, boys, and all ages.Lionel Messi wears these shin guards.... well maybe he does.5 Stars

Sizing seems more like adult sizing

Overall, these shin guards are well-constructed and feel sturdy enough to take plenty of impact on the field. The padding is thick and sufficient, offering full coverage where young players need it most. They also feature a nice, snug sleeve design that should deliver excellent compression and keep everything locked in place during a game. However, the sizing chart runs significantly large. Even though these are listed as youth sizes, the Large ended up fitting much closer to an adult size and was far too big for my kid.If you get the sizing right, these are a reliable, protective choice for the season—just consider sizing down from what you would normally order for a youth fit.

Grip is similar to a woman’s strapless bra or dress

I ordered these for my kids who play soccer. My six year old specifically, struggles with putting his shin guards on his feet and legs easily.Pros-These are great to keep in the car as a backup in case a kid forgets their shin guards-They fit my son. He is six and thin and the small fit fine. My 8 year old tried them on and they fit but were very tight.-They stayed up in his leg-The passing makes them very comfortable compared to the plastic inserts and still safe against injury-These are not expensive, nicely pricedCons-They use a strip of plastic? Or something similar to keep them up. Like a lady’s strapless bra or dress. It’s not comfortable for my child.-I feel like after lots of washes these will stretch out or the grippy stip will fail.Overall these work as a backup or in a pinch. The quality is nice and they are softly padded, but my child didn’t really care for the squeeze on his legs. Unfortunately, these will not replace the traditional shin guards and sock for us.

Finally, No More Messing with Separate Shin Guards and Socks!

These have been a total game-changer for our game days. Having the shin guard built right into the compression sleeve makes getting ready so much easier—no more messing around with separate inserts and extra socks that constantly slip down on the field. The honeycomb padding is super lightweight, but it really takes the sting out of impacts. Plus, the fabric is soft, breathable, and stays put through the entire game without causing a sweaty mess. The fit was spot-on according to the size chart, and they hold up great. Highly recommend for any young athlete!

Good Compression, Ordered for Adult

Admittedly I ordered these compression shin guards for myself, and I am a 40 something adult. I ordered the X-Large size which wound up fitting around my calves perfectly. For reference I am about 5’6 at 190lbs, and my calves are fairly large.I wear these when walking around or using my under desk elliptical machine. These compression guards provide amply compression without feeling too tight. The compression, combined with the movement of my leg, does help to stimulate blood flow to the area.I do suffer from muscle issues in my calves and wearing these for 30 minutes/day has helped with my issues significantly. They are thin and breathable, making them good for outdoor use even on a warm or hot day. The front shin guards offer moderate protection from bumps, and great protection from possible skin puncturing.I washed these on the delicate cycle and dried on medium heat with no issues. If you, or your child, are in need of some good compression shin guards then I’d recommend giving these a try.

Not bad, not a favorite

The fit well but my son said they didn't feel snug enough to be comfortable with the flexibly to be efficient on the field. The padding isn't bad but it is thinner than comparable shin guards. Would purchase again for low impact or running drills but not a fan for games.

Solid Shin Guard Option

I like the integrated design of these shin guards/shin sleeves. They don’t require inserts, so they can be washed, worn, and stored without worrying about losing parts. They fit on the tight side of things, but that is probably good so they don’t fall down. They are easy to use since there is no insert, and they stay in place throughout the game. I was worried at first about durability, but they have stood up to several games without showing any signs of wear. The quality of material and design seems really good. And they are pretty well-priced compared to other types of shin guards. They are durable, well-made, and comfortable. Recommend!

Comfortable, fun colors, and seems like it provides good protection

We decided to try a new type of shin guard for my kiddo this upcoming season. They have traditionally used the hard plastic shell style that straps on under their socks, but those straps always ended up being uncomfortable and digging into their calves. We're switching things up and trying out these slip-on sleeves with the honeycomb padding to see if it makes a difference. My kiddo tried them on around the house and already says they like them better than dealing with the old straps. The blue is a fun color, and the large size ended up being the right fit for a very tall 10-year-old. They fit snug enough on the leg but still have some room to stretch, which is exactly what you want when buying sports gear for growing kids.Of course, the true test will be when practices and games actually start back up. Walking around the living room is one thing, but running on a field (and taking a few stray kicks to the shins) is another. I'll revisit this review after the season kicks off to update it based on those real-world experiences. But at this point, we're hopeful and happy with how they look and feel.

Runs a bit big

Unfortunately these ended up being too large to use for my grandson. I measured him prior to purchasing and according to the chart provided he would have been an x-small, however, they are still too large on him. I do believe that they might work for him within a year, but for now we will need to find another option. Despite the sizing issue, they do seem to be very well made, much more comfortable than other ones we have looked and the price seems to be similar to other shin guards like these.
