This tabletop football game is kind of like pinball football. The set comes dismantled, the actual main board in 2 pieces and all the other parts in a clear plastic bag. I'm not sure if instructions are meant to be included for set up, but there was no instructions in my box. It's not that hard to figure out but instructions would have made the process a lot quicker than it was. The whole set is plastic. To put the arena together you basically need to slot pieces together and push them in, but some parts, like the way bits of the fence goes, isn't that obvious as to which piece to use and it took some trial and error. The game works by pressing the 2 controller buttons on your side to activate the flick mechanism (don't know the proper terminology) like how you get in pinball. This even comes with a little scoreboard to keep score but you need to manually change the numbers. Taking it apart doesn't seem worth the hassle, I did try but the controllers felt like the bottom bits might snap off so I've just left it all made up. The advert seems a bit confused as to who it's target audience is. It says 5-12 then goes on to say 9-12 then just randomly starts naming every age group under the age of 13. It's a fun table top game for younger kids, a little starter set before they get to the foosball table stage. I think 12 may be pushing it, probably more suited to 10 and under. It's a cool gift for a young football loving fan but for the quality and build I think it's overpriced.

This tabletop football toy came very well packaged in a nice box and I think it is an amazing toy for your little one. This toy has good quality, it is made of plastic material which is strong, durable, it is lightweight, has good size, works well, has very nice colours and is very entertaining. I got this toy to give to my son for his birthday and I can say that he was very happy and had a lot of fun playing with my partner. It is a very nice toy and worth the price.

This has been a huge hit with kids and adult! It was easy to set up and feels sturdy enough to handle excited kids pressing all the buttons! The games are fast-paced and really fun, and it’s great for playing together rather than just watching a screen. The size is perfect for a table or floor and it packs away easily when not in use. Kept the kids entertained for ages and even the adults ended up joining in. For the price, it’s excellent value and would make a great present for any football-mad child. Highly recommend

I got this Saga tabletop football game for my child, and it has quickly become a go-to for a bit of friendly competition. The compact size makes it easy to set up on a table, and it doesn’t take up much space when not in use, which is ideal for our living room. Really great value for the quality and entertainment factor. The game is simple to understand, even for younger kids around five or six, but still engaging enough to keep older children interested. My child picked up the rules almost immediately, and I enjoy playing alongside them without it feeling too easy or too chaotic. It has sparked a few mini tournaments in the house, which has been fun for both of us.The build quality is sturdy for a tabletop game. The handles and players feel durable, and nothing feels like it will break easily during normal use. The ball moves smoothly across the field, and the rods operate without sticking or jamming, which is important for keeping the game enjoyable rather than frustrating.I appreciate that it encourages hand-eye coordination and quick thinking, and it’s a nice way to have screen-free fun. The interactive nature makes it perfect for a parent-child activity, and the matches usually end in laughter rather than frustration. The design is compact but realistic enough to feel like a miniature football pitch. It’s light enough to move between rooms but heavy enough to stay in place during play. We’ve even taken it to a friend’s house for a quick game, and it packed away easily without taking up much space. For anyone looking for a small, durable, and entertaining tabletop game that works for children and adults, this Saga football set does exactly that. It provides a good balance of fun, competition, and interaction without being complicated or fragile.

This tabletop soccer game centers on the theme of "parents and children competing together," stimulating family interaction through a two-player mode. In testing, 5-year-olds quickly mastered basic controls (such as pushing and ball control), while parents added depth through strategic defense (such as anticipating movement and blocking shot routes), creating a balanced experience that is "easy to learn, difficult to master." For example, children might focus on direct shots, while parents can use defensive gaps to launch counter-attacks, resulting in multiple rounds of offense and defense amidst laughter. Made of thickened ABS plastic, the goal frame features rounded edges to prevent scratches. The stick length is ergonomically optimized (approximately 25cm), suitable for children's grip and preventing tipping due to excessive force. The tabletop measures 60cm x 40cm, easily fitting on dining tables, coffee tables, or children's study desks, and is only 8cm thick when folded, taking up minimal space. A portable storage bag is included for convenient carrying (such as camping or travel). The product runs stably on wooden, tile, and carpet surfaces; only extremely slippery surfaces require the addition of a non-slip mat.

Saga table top football game! you have excelled yourself in everyway possible way, and without batteries, something that I feel all toys appear to need now adays, so in away it feels like the traditional toys are coming back into fashion, which is great. The whole principle of this tabletop football game is so basic, but yet so enjoyable, and brings laughs to not just the young but also the old, who like us, should also know better than play games that can raise or blood pressure. The whole thing is so easy to assemble and set up, we didn't add the supplied stickers for some reason, but with our eyesight they're probably best not applied for the photoshoot. After we assembled the two main parts, shall we say the 'pitch' I noticed that the middle was raised, and no matter how hard I tried I could not get it flat, just as well as I think it's raised so the ball will roll towards the side the slope is, without this the ball would just stay in the middle, glad I couldn't find my trusty mallet. The quality is ok, I think it will last, for us anyway, and we've been playing for at least half an hour each evening for a week, hopefully it will for the younger generation. It's a bit like a double pinball, and it works perfectly, and it's size makes it perfect for coffee tables as well.We love it, and at £24.99 we think it is good value for money, though at the time of this review it was on offer at £17.99, which is even better.

This is absolutely fantastic it’s a great big size and was very easy to set up , stickers are included to help the design look great and the game is very good perfect family game . The sides have blocks so you can add Lego figures to the arena so it looks like the rewatching the game . My son age 12 loved this .This is well made and strong and great for gifting .

This table top football will be enjoyed with the whole family. The box arrived with all the pieces sealed. You will need to assemble the parts yourself. It did take some time to put the table together as it doesn't slot in properly. Rest of the pieces slotted into place. Stickers are included to decorate the toy.It is set up to be an arena style stadium, 4 plastic balls, x4 handle bars, and a goal tracker. The toddlers age 3 has enjoyed playing this tabletop football. Pressing the buttons to hit the sides, and protect the goal post. The size is great to be played on the floor or table. Quality and build is decent. At £17.99 I think is a fair price for the fun and quality.

A fun game which my boys have really enjoyed. Comes in a colourful cardboard box, showing you exactly what youre getting. It needs some assembly, which seems to take forever with 2 eager children waiting to play. The game board is "in half", which needs slotting together. Its quite tight, but then doesn't feel it's sat flat though. You need to add the stands, goals, handles and stickers. Easy enough to play with 2 triggers on each handle to move the paddles to push the ball forward/stop the ball from going in the goal. There a bell in the goal and rings when the ball hits it. Theres a score board, where you can keep track and see who can score the most goals. Seems quite well built and is currently withstanding my boys heavy handedness. Fun game to enjoy and even get competitive with.

To be honest, I hadn't had big expectations related to this product. I expected another cheaply made toy, awkward to assemble due to poor quality, that lasts a day or two before cheap plastic breaks. How wrong I was! Although I only tested it after receiving and can't say how long it will last, I was surprised that it was actually good—easy to assemble, pieces easily fit together, and although it obviously is not top quality, it is actually quite good. And the fun I had with my son! This is a perfect game when you just want to relax after a day's work playing with kids but do not have mental stamina to play demanding D&D or other complicated board games. For me—it scored!I do not think I must describe how it works and how to play—it is obvious, but if you are a football nerd, well, there are no offsides, neither are penalties. Just press the buttons and direct the ball with the rods to score. Shouting from the supporters' side is allowed, but if playing with kids, I would limit the typical football fan vocabulary...

This is a very fun tabletop football game that I picked up to play with my son and partner. It does require some assembly, though it's only a five minute build, with more time spent applying the stickers than anything else (which I just skipped as I always mess up stickers!). What's quite cool is that the red stands that surround the pitch are Lego-friendly, so you can place all sorts of minifigures on them to act as supporters which I think is a nice touch! It's very simple - it's a two player game, with one on each end and two fixed control sticks that each have two buttons. One button at the top to control the flippers in front of the goal, and the button on the side to control the side flippers. The pitch itself is sloped on each side so the ball will never get stuck in the middle of the pitch and will make it's way down to either side. It's sort-of like pinball really. There's no batteries needed with this which is great, it's all mechanical. When scoring a goal, there's a bell in each goal that makes a audible "ding" when the ball makes contact with it.We've used this quite a lot and we've had a blast with this - it's very simple, and pretty solid too, so it can take quite a bashing. At just £17.99 at the time of writing, I think this is great value for money.

This game is a delightful throwback that instantly took me back to my childhood. Playing it felt like walking down memory lane, reliving those simple moments of joy and friendly competition. It’s compact, durable and that makes it perfect for parent-and-child play, and it’s easy to set up for quick, fun matches. It’s not just a game, it’s a shared experience that brings generations together, so it is an ideal and meaningful gift for young football fans.

Gave this as a gift for my grandson's 5th birthday and he loves it. It comes dismantled but was relatively easy to put together taking about 5 mins. The game itself is super fun and was enjoyed by adults and kids alike. When put together it stayed together so it does feel sturdy enough. We played it on the floor and at the table with no issues. The grandkids were getting competitive with it, so were the adults. Really good fun and at £20 I think this offer decent value for money.
